Busy Moms Need A Check Up Too! -Sassy Gals – Healthier Living

Taking time for yourself will not only make you feel better,  but your family will be happier for it! -Kathy

Let’s face it, moms today are extremely busy. When you think about what’s involved with work, helping kids with school, keeping our homes livable, managing friendships and extended family commitments; it’s no wonder why mom is always on the move.  With all that’s happening in mom’s world, usually she is the last one to get the attention she needs.

Bottom line – if mom’s not healthy, the whole family suffers a major breakdown.  So, what’s a mom to do?

  • Get a checkup to make sure your engine is running smoothly.
  • Be honest with your doctor. If you are tired say so. You may have a vitamin deficiency, low iron or low blood sugar.
  • If you are on medication, make sure you take it.
  • Try to get a good night’s sleep.
  • Eat your fruit, vegetables, and protein.
  • Take time out for yourself.

We all benefit when mom is rested and well taken care of. Make yourself a priority and you will be giving your family the best gift of all – A Healthy Happy YOU!!
