There are times I see people arguing over the smallest things. Other times, I see people trying to prove a point and in the process destroy a friend’s confidence and friendship.

If you observe those around you, you will find society feels it has the right to correct others, police your opinions and put people in their place. Fault finding and pointing fingers at others is causing division and breaking apart families, friendship, communities and nations.

What would happen if we followed JESUS’ example and took the time to draw the treasures out of our family, friends and co-worker? Would communities change? Call me optimistic but I believe it would produce confident people. Confident people do not have time to belittle other. They are solution and peace makers. They draw and empower others to succeed.

Do you want to make a difference?

Then start with yourself.  Take inventory of how you interact with others. Are you a faultfinder or peacemaker? Are you intentional? Are you critical or a solution maker?  Pay attention to your answers .If your answers are negative, address it. It won’t be easy but the results will be life changing. Once you have the bigger picture you will be a more confident person and will influence and will cultivate peace among your community.

So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. Romans 14:19
