My name is Janet Hancock. I live in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I have lived here for about 5 years. I am from Tampa, Florida but from there we moved to Peachtree City, Georgia, then Raleigh, North Carolina and then here. I say I am working my way up to Heaven though I know we don’t get there by works.

I joined GWG’S a few years ago here in Virginia Beach. I love my Gabbin sisters. We have a great. I love the fellowship of meeting to chat about the books we read and the times we get together to do crafts. And the times we get together to celebrate our birthdays. Before I joined I wasn’t a big reader but really have enjoyed it. And as far as doing crafts that is not really my forte but my sisters help me out. Like I say I go for the social part of it all, ha ha.

To say alittle about me I am married to a fellow name John Hancock. We just celebrated 28 years. We have two grown sons. Kyle is 26 and Nolan is 24.

The thing I look for most in a friendship is connection and trust. I say one of my favorite words would be blessed because I have been so blessed in my life. My favorite color I’d say is red since I swing to the right if you know what I mean, ha ha. I would say my all time favorite movie is Wizard of Oz. As far as a song wow there are so many great songs. From Christian, country and other categories. I love Casting Crowns, John Waller, Third Day, Michael W. Smith etc. They have so many great songs it is hard for me to pick. I love Remember When by Alan Jackson and I love Brown Eyed Girl since I have brown eyes.

An interesting fact about me for those that don’t know me. I love to play tennis, ride my bike and working out in the yard.
