Some days we seem to forget that even a quick trip to see your son’s competition can turn into a grand adventure. I try to always leave time in my schedule even when we are traveling over 2 hours away for an event for some “unplanned time”. Unplanned you ask? That is the time you leave for adventure…really you can plan adventure. Well no and yes, you leave open the possibility of trying something new, of branching out of getting the most out where you are going. last weekend we had to travel out of state , we left our usual early time and guess what it left us time to explore a bit, we found the most interesting Elephant museum called Mr. Ed’s Elephant museum, we could of easily just drove right past it. But we didn’t we stopped, we added memories to our lives, it was fun, it was different, it was inspirational as well as a learning experience, we learned more about PT Barnum and his circus and laughed at some of the unusual elephants they had collected. The most important thing about it was that is allowed us to distress, to laugh, to enjoy each others company without the hectic rushing from event to another. Life is hectic, we do have choices and we can learn to take the time to choose adventure, to live adventure, to let your spirit guide you, move you along on the your path. God wants you to be healed, to replace those difficult memories with ones of laughter and cheer. He wants the best for you. He leaves the road open for us to explore. Take the chance, listen to the nudge you hear, its worth the time! I believe God was the great adventure he lead so many people on adventures in the Bible, Noah, Johan, Moses, these were not planned but boy throughout those adventures they learned, they laughed and sometimes cried but on the other end was a great reward, a new perspective, a different view. Who is not ready for a different view? Sometimes a little shakeup can give you clarity in other areas! Life was meant for us to explore, to bring our light to others, in these adventures we meet new people, we are given the opportunity to shine in all circumstances! Jesus was always up for adventure, following where God was leading, meeting many new people, bringing the light to them. Today seek adventure!
