Sometimes in life, the pain of disappointment can cause one to feel emotionally and spiritually numb. When this happens, praying can be difficult. It is in those moments when friends need to step in and pray. The act is called “standing in the gap.” God knew there would be times when we would feel helpless and would need someone to call out our need before him. How do I know this? Jesus did it often. In fact, he encouraged his followers to do the same.
